We are holding our Fruit Tree Drive again this year. Axedale school families and wider community members are invited to purchase quality fruit trees direct from the nursery with considerable savings through Valley Trees Nursery.

Education Week is an annual celebration of education in Victoria. This year Victoria will celebrate Education Week from Monday 13th May to Friday 17th May. 

Students have been given a Challenge Checklist and an information page. The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now open and we are excited to be participating.

On Friday 23rd February the Grade 6 students presented their School Captain speeches. It was an extremely proud moment as they overcame nerves and ‘butterflies’ and presented themselves to the students and teachers from Grade 3 – 6 and parents who were able to attend.

Congratulations to our House Leaders. Staff look forward to working with all student leaders across many areas this year.

We are very excited to announce a new Wellbeing initiative being introduced this year. We are celebrating the successes of student behaviour and expectations.

Thank you to parents / carers who have returned the slip indicating an interest in being part of PVF and which days are most suited for meetings. We have quite a spread of days and times where parents / carers are available, which is fantastic but also a little challenging.
