ORIENTATION DAY, GRADUATION & END OF YEAR AWARDS

Late on Wednesday 25th November we received an update from the Department of Education and Training (DET) with information about what is now permissible regarding Graduations and  the State-wide Orientation Day on Tuesday December 8th

Given this late notice we have not yet finalised plans for this day. As soon as they are finalised we will advise the school community. This information will be particularly relevant for the parents/carers of our 2021 Prep students.

GRADE 6 GRADUATION
As you can appreciate our plans for our Grade 6 Graduation are well advanced. However, we will organise some adjustments to these plans in the time frame available. For the parents of Grade 6 students this does now mean that you will be able to attend a Graduation celebration for your child. Again, you will be advised as soon as we are able to finalise these new arrangements. At this stage we are working on having a modified graduation event, which will not include a dinner, on Tuesday 15th December at 7.00pm at the hall. The Grade 6 students will still have their luncheon at school on this day as this catering has already been arranged.

END OF YEAR AWARDS
Given the very late notice of changes to COVID restrictions we will be staying with original plans which means not having our usual End of Year Concert and Awards Presentation. As an alternative we have planned an Awards Presentation Assembly for Tuesday 15th December. At this assembly our Grade 6 students will be acknowledged and Whole School Awards will be presented. This assembly will be held at 9.00am.
