CHAPPY'S CORNER

Family Challenge: This week's challenge is the four-minute eye-gazing science activity. Each family member is to spend 4 minutes looking into another family member's eyes. Maybe your children are struggling to be kind to each other.

Why not sit them down across from each other and make them look into each other's eyes silently. See what happens! This is a social psychology experiment created by psychologist Arthur Aron. It shows that staring silently into another person's eyes for four uninterrupted minutes builds deep trust, slows your breathing, and releases bonding hormones like oxytocin. Give it a go and see what happens.
